Windermere Manor Hotel

Windermere Manor Hotel is nestled in beautiful grounds, close to Lake Windermere, in the Lake District National Park. Dating back to 1850 and built from local stone, the hotel offers views across the lake, an excellent selection of guest bedrooms, restaurant, bar, indoor swimming pool, grounds and free car parking.

Bedrooms are contemporary in style and equipped with en suite facilities, toiletries, a TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There are Standard, Club, Superior and Accessible Rooms for guests with disabilities. Families can be accommodated and dogs are allowed. There is an enclosed area for off-lead pet exercise.

Club and Superior Rooms generally have better views and / or are also larger in size. They also come with additional extras including bathrobes, slippers, mineral water and upgraded toiletries in the en suite. Superior Rooms are located in the cottages in our grounds and enjoy access to a patio with outside seating.

Food is served throughout the day in either the hotel restaurant with its beamed ceiling and stained glass windows, or the conservatory, with views across the garden and outside terrace.
