Penrose Campsite is in a quiet spot on the outskirts of Porthleven, just a short walk away from the beach and Looe Pool. Offering stunning seaviews stretching down to St Michaels Mount, this is a lovely place to stay, welcoming a range of travellers, including holidaymakers and walkers following the South West Coast Path.

The campsite, spanning across 2 fields, accepts tents and campervans. There are 2 well-presented amenities blocks, with dishwashing sinks and chemical toilet disposal also available. Dogs are allowed on-site. Adjacent to the National Trust-owned Penrose Estate, there are many beautiful walks and cycle routes in the area.

The most southerly port in the UK, Porthleven has a granite harbour where you can go on boat or fishing trips. There is a market selling local produce and plenty of fish shops selling the catch of the day. Visitors will also find coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, art galleries and souvenir shops. There is an annual food festival in April.
