Mount Pleasant Eco Park offers camping, glamping, venue hire and workshops on an ecologically-sustainable site with stunning sea views, near the village of Porthtowan on Cornwall’s north Atlantic coast. Power is derived from on-site wind turbines, heating from a biomass boiler and water is taken from a borehole and harvested rainwater, to minimise the impact on the environment, providing an environmentally-friendly holiday base.

Our wild camping field has pitches for tents, campers and motorhomes, with views down to Porthtowan beach. Some of the pitches include electric hook-up and / or are hardstanding. For walkers and cyclists or those wanting to camp overnight in a single or 2-man tent, there is a ‘Wild Walkers’ area. There are also 5 hand-built shepherd’s huts sleeping 2 or 4 guests and 6 eco-pods for 2 people, fitted with solar panels, providing lighting and electricity.

The site has mains toilets and compost toilets, hot showers, washing-up sinks and also has firepits available for hire. The on-site café serves delicious vegan meals made from ingredients grown on-site and sourced from local suppliers. There are also live music events and workshops held throughout the year. The Barn can be hired for weddings or larger parties and The Green Room can be hired for meetings and smaller gatherings.
