Maker Camp at Maker Heights is situated along Cornwall’s Rame Head Heritage Coast, just 5 miles by road to the town of Torpoint. A non-profit organisation, with funds fed back into the Rame Conservation Trust, the site offers some spectacular views across the sea and estuary, with many local places for walking, cycling and water sports.
The campsite is nestled in an area of unspoilt countryside, accommodating a range of motorhomes, campervans and tents, with brand new amenities, a washing-up area and greywater disposal point. Dogs are welcome and fire pits are allowed. The Canteen provides a rustic home cooking menu courtesy of former River Cottage chef Nick Platt.
Discounts are available for Rame Conservation Trust members. Footpaths from the site lead down to the South West Coast Path, Kingsland village and the beautiful shingled Cawsands Beach.
