Whitemead Forest Park is a Visit England 4-Star rated park with camping and touring pitches, plus glamping and luxury self-catering holiday accommodation. Set in the village of Parkend within the Forest of Dean, this is a family and dog-friendly site, nestled in beautiful natural surroundings, a few miles north of the town of Lydney.
The campsite has over 100 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with a choice of grass or hardstanding surface, each with an electric hook-up. There are also a range of glamping pods sleeping 2 - 4, log cabins, woodland lodges and apartments all sleeping 4 - 6 and a bungalow sleeping 6 - 8. Some benefit from a hot tub.
Whitemead has an impressive range of facilities including a bar, shop / off-licence, 12-hole adventure golf, heated indoor swimming pool with separate children’s area, a sauna, steam room and 2 hot tubs, gymnasium, a terrace area with kiosk and 2 outdoor play areas. The park has an entertainment programme and activities.
