Eight The Green is a 200-year-old traditional Derbyshire Dales stone-built cottage situated in the upland village of Middleton-by-Wirksworth, a mile NNW of Wirksworth, 4 miles outside Matlock and on the cusp of the Peak District National Park. This cottage has been renovated to a high standard to provide a holiday home.

The cosy living room features a wood burning stove, locally-made sofa, TV and dining table. The equipped oak kitchen opens out onto the enclosed walled outside courtyard with seating area. There is a king size bedroom with scenic views and a bathroom upstairs. Wifi and central heating is provided throughout the cottage.

There is free on-street parking by the village green opposite. Secure bicycle storage can also be arranged. The pub and post office are a short walk away and places to visit nearby include the National Stone Centre in Wirksworth and the Tramway Museum in Crich. The High Peak Trail is also popular with cyclists and walkers.
