Forthay Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to Forthay Bed and Breakfast, a beautiful Cotswold stone-built former farmhouse situated in a scenic hamlet near Dursley. This Grade II listed 17th century building retains abundant original features including beamed ceilings and stone walls, providing a wonderful place to stay. The house is situated on the Cotswold Way and looks across the Tyndale Monument.

Pitman Room offers a king size bed, seating area and en suite shower room. Tyndale also has a king size bed but has a private shower room, and Wallace and Gromit is a twin bedded room, also with private shower room. All of the bedrooms provide garden views, luxury toiletries, Wifi access, DAB radio and a hospitality tray for making refreshments. Dogs are allowed by agreement.

Guests are also welcome to relax in the snug, or enjoy the garden featuring croquet on the lawn, boules and table tennis. A hearty English breakfast is served in the morning, where guests can choose from a full cooked English, or other options such as our own award-winning homemade granola. There is ample B & B car parking, and a heated dog shower and dog sitting services are available.
