The Camping and Caravanning Clubsite - Crowden

The Camping and Caravanning Club Site Crowden is located in the area of High Peak, within the Peak District National Park, near the village of Tintwhistle. A peaceful location, close to Torside Reservoir, and on the route of many hiking trails, including the Pennine Way, it is ideal for walkers and all outdoors enthusiasts.

The site offers grass pitches with no electricity, plus grass and hardstanding pitches with electricity, and there are seasonal pitches for regular visitors. Guests can also book the camping pods sleeping 3 - 4 guests or the 2 safari ready-tents featuring a kitchen / dining area and 2 separate bedrooms, sleeping 6 people.

Amenities include hot showers, toilets, baby changing, a laundry room, dishwashing sinks, and satellite hire can be arranged. Accessible facilities are provided for guests with disabilities. Tintwhistle is 3 miles away, providing a pub, coffee shop and lakeside restaurant, and the site is 5 miles from the market town of Glossop.
