Farrier’s Cottage, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, is a charming semi-detached stone-built cottage sleeping up to 6 guests, found within picturesque Garsdale, 5 minutes from Sedburgh. Originally a blacksmith’s cottage and workshop dating back to 1675, the property is surrounded by scenic views across the fells and hilltops, providing a perfect setting for walking, cycling, climbing and sightseeing.

The sitting room features exposed stone walls, a wood burning stove in the traditional fireplace, leather suite and a TV. There is also an equipped kitchen and utility room, with a separate dining room providing seating for 6 and a grandfather clock. There are 3 bedrooms; a master king room, twin bedroom and a double, plus a bathroom with bathtub and shower over, and a shower room on the ground floor.

Outside, is a lawned area at the front with a table and chairs, as well as car parking for 2 vehicles and bicycle storage. Nearby Sedbergh is a market town beneath the Howgill Fells, within the Yorkshire Dales and close to the Lake District National Park, offering a selection of traditional shops, pubs and tea rooms. Sedbergh is also England’s official ‘Book Town’ with a variety of books from a wide range of sellers.
