In a great location, Laverick Caravan Site is situated just outside the Lancashire village of Halton, 5 miles from Lancaster and conveniently close to the M6 junctions 34 and 35. The sandy beaches and stunning coastal views of Morecambe Bay are also within a few miles. This is a compact, friendly and family-run site where the hosts Jean and William offer a warm welcome.
This touring site offers scenic views towards the Lake District, with Blackpool Tower also in the distance. Visitors will find only 10 electric pitches for motorhomes and touring caravans, with access to the superfast Wifi, toilets with sinks (including one with improved access), a shower room and fresh water taps. Dogs are allowed and there is a designated field for walks.
The local village of Halton is a mile away from the site, offering a convenience store, newsagent, pharmacy, post office and fish and chip shop. The market town of Carnforth is 3 miles away, with its train station (featured in the 1945 film ‘Brief Encounter’) and supermarkets. The seaside resort of Morecambe is within 5 miles and the Lake District is only 35-minutes’ drive.
