Castlerigg Farm Camping and Caravan Site overlooks the beautiful fells and Derwent Water in the Lake District. Situated a mile-and-a-half outside Keswick and adjacent to the Walla Craig hiking trail, it is a quiet and scenic location for exploring the area on foot, by bike or car.
There is an area for caravans and motorhomes with hardstanding surface, and a camping field for tents and trailer tents. Electric and non-electric pitches are available for both. A family-friendly site, dogs are also allowed. Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions can also be accommodated.
The site has excellent facilities including heated washrooms, a laundry room, dishwashing sinks, gas exchange, dog walking area with dog shower, and a camper’s day room. Wifi is provided and there is a shop selling everyday essentials.
