Beckses Caravan Park is a friendly, family-owned site within the Lake District National Park, in the village of Penruddock, about 5 miles from Penrith and 7 miles from the M6. Perfect for both relaxing and active short breaks and holidays, there are touring pitches, as well as a selection of well-equipped static holiday caravans and glamping pods for hire. Dogs are welcome on the park.
The 27 touring pitches for motorhomes and caravans have a part hardstanding and part grass surface, EHU and space for an awning. The tent field has 8 pitches, including some with EHU. There are 2 wash blocks, plus a laundry room and washing-up sinks. The timber glamping pods sleep 2 - 4 and static caravans sleep 6 people. There is a children’s play area and a dog walking field.
Penruddock is a small village to the west of Penrith, along the A66 road. The Herdwick Inn is located in the village, serving food. The location provides easy access to a wide range of sightseeing opportunities and outdoors pursuits in and around the towns, villages and northern fells of the National Park.
