Haggs Bank Bunkhouse and Campsite is set in a scenic location in the heart of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, along the A689, to the east of the town of Alston and along the course of the River Nent. Awarded a Visit England Silver rating for Green Tourism, this is a superb base for a short break or holiday.
The camping area is divided into the main meadow with terraced pitches and stunning valley views, and the smaller woodland section offering pitches amongst the trees. The camping area is car-free (parking bays across the road) and there are EHUs for motorhomes and caravans, plus showers and toilets. Dogs are also allowed.
The Bunkhouse can accommodate groups of up to 25 people in 3 dormitory-style bedrooms, with use of a fully-equipped communal kitchen and dining conservatory.
