Grandie Caravan Park

Grandie Caravan Park is a scenic place to stay on the edge of the North Pennines, in Dufton, only 3 miles north of the market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland. Dufton is a small village nestling under the slopes of Great Dun Fell. The Pennine Way, Pennine Bridleway and Sustrans Pennine Cycleway all pass through the village, so the site is popular as a base for outdoors pursuits.

This park is open all year for tourers. There is a grass area for small tents and a separate field for families and groups. Electric-free, there is a solar-powered toilet and an undercover seating area for campers. A hardstanding area is available for motorhomes and caravans, with electric hook-ups and water. Also available to hire are the 3 Hobbit Huts. Knock and Dufton Huts sleep 2, whereas Murton Hut sleeps 4 people. The site has a main shower / toilet block and outside dishwashing sinks that everyone can use. There is also a studio cottage for 2 guests to hire, just around the corner from the main park. Visitors will find a play area and local inn a short walk away from the site.
