Pennine View Caravan Park

Set within the picturesque Eden Valley just outside Kirkby Stephen, Pennine View Caravan Park is a family-run, friendly campsite on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, also close to the Lake District and North Pennines. Superbly located for short breaks and holidays, it is on the midway point of the Coast-to-Coast long-distance route.

The site itself is situated on the former goods yard of the Settle to Carlisle Railway. There are a range of pitches including hardstanding, grass, and ‘half and half’ for motorhomes and caravans, all with electric hook-up, plus a secluded camping field with and without hook-ups for tents, also featuring a handy camper’s kitchen.

Special rates for backpackers or those arriving by bike are available and dogs are allowed. There are spacious washrooms with toilets and showers, disabled facilities and baby changing; plus Wifi, a launderette and children’s play area. The Engine Shed, converted from the old goods shed, offers a bar and events throughout the year.
