Gallaber Farm Caravan Park is a friendly site situated on a working farm on the outskirts of the village of Burton in Lonsdale. In a location sandwiched between the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District, there are no shortage of opportunities for things to do and see in the area.
The site is a peaceful spot surrounded by open fields, home to a herd of Limousin breed of cattle, and sheep. The touring field accepts up to 20caravans, each pitch with electric hook-up and hardstanding available. There are showers and toilets and recreation field next door with goal posts.
Also available are 2 static caravans and a holiday cottage for hire, all sleeping 4. The village is 15-minutes’ walk, offering a post office and community-run grocery shop.. There are many scenic hiking trails from the site, a short drive to the stunning Ingleton Waterfalls and White Scar Show Caves.
