Pitch & Canvas

Welcome to Pitch and Canvas, a friendly camping and glamping site near the historic village of Tattenhall, just 9 miles from the centre of Chester. Surrounded by the rural Cheshire countryside, with views across the Sandstone Ridge, the park is close to the Sandstone Trail long-distance walking trail.

There are 2 fields for tents, campervans and motorhomes, featuring a choice of grass and hardstanding; electric or non-electric pitches. For glampers, choose from Oak Pod, Acorn Pod or Willow Yurt, all sleeping up to 4 people. Guests can use the new amenities block including free hot showers.

Pitch and Canvas is also home to 2 well-equipped static homes; Beeston View and Peckforton View. Both are set in their own area of the site, with paddock views. Sleeping up to 4 guests, the homes feature a comfortable living area, kitchen, shower facilities, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

The local area is popular for outdoors activities and there are many interesting places to visit nearby including Beeston Castle, Crocky Trail Adventure Park and The Ice Cream Farm. The historic City of Chester is famed for its Roman walls, amphitheatre, cathedral, quirky shops, racecourse and more.
