Eden Valley Glamping

Eden Valley Glamping comprises 3 luxury en suite pods in a rural setting, with views across the Pennines. The site is only 7 miles SE from Carlisle, easily reached from the M6 and within easy reach of the North Pennines and Lake District. The local village is Armathwaite, providing local shops and inns. The area is popular for outdoors pursuits; with walks, maps and advice provided if required. Hosts Dave and Liz Johnson provide a warm welcome.

Well-spaced out across our field and named after Pennine fells, the pods are called Croglin, Melmerby and Cross Fell. Guests will find a living / sleeping area with a double sofa bed, kitchenette, dining table and en suite shower room. Two of the pods also have a double bed and the third pod has a set of bunks with a foldout bed for an extra guest. Outside, there are 2 comfortable chairs, cushions, a storage box, barbeque / firepit and car parking.

The camp kitchen, with its fully-equipped kitchen and living area, is available to use. There is also a freestanding communal hammock, large clay wood fired pizza oven and fire circle; plus our sauna (suitable for 4 persons) available for private hire. Behind the camp kitchen is bicycle storage and a recycling area. There is no Wifi signal, so the site is perfect for a digital detox! Foraging and craft courses are also available on dates through the year.
