Bay Retreat

Bay Retreat, with stunning sea views, is simply perfect for holidays with family and friends on Cornwall’s Atlantic coast! This modern, spacious holiday home, in the beautiful Cornish village of Widemouth Bay, is within walking distance of the Blue Flag awarded beach, world-famous SW Coast Path and only 3 miles south of Bude. Sleeping 10 guests in 5 bedrooms, a maximum of 2 dogs are also welcome. Hot tub hire is available. In a great location for exploring the area, visitors will also find local amenities, including an inn, restaurant and small shop.

Downstairs, the open plan living space, with themed, contemporary décor, provides the ideal place for relaxing; with armchairs and sofas, a wood burner, Smart TV, dining table and fully-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. This area opens directly outside. Upstairs, there are 5 light and airy bedrooms (3 en suite), plus a spacious bathroom. Free Wifi is available throughout the house. Outside, is the beautiful garden with a decked area, enclosed terrace, table and chairs, BBQ and those wonderful sea views. Ample car parking is provided.

Guests can easily walk to Widemouth Bay beach, popular with families and surfers, to find a wide expanse of sands stretching nearly 2 miles; with cafés, beach shops and amenities. The southern end of the beach is rockier, indicated by the ‘Black Rock’ landmark, ideal for exploring local marine life in the pools. This end of the beach is dog-friendly. A few miles up the road, Bude is a bustling seaside resort with great beaches, a free tidal swimming pool, plenty of quirky shops, places to eat and attractions including a castle, canal and golf club.
