Argyll Backpackers

Argyll Backpackers is a purpose-built hostel easily located off the A83 road, between Lochgilphead and Tarbert. Found along the shores of Loch Fyne, in a great location and offering some amazing views of the loch, it is the perfect place to stay for those exploring Kintyre and Argyll on foot, bicycle or by car.

Bedrooms are named after Scottish islands and offer en suite facilities, USB sockets, phone holder and reading lights. There are double rooms, bunk rooms, triples with a single bunk over, and the Wee Snug Hostel on the first floor with a double room, twin, shared living room and shower room.

Any group size can be accommodated from lone travellers to groups. All guests can use the common room with kitchen, dining area, comfortable seating and a TV. Outside, there is a wraparound walkway with a barbeque and picnic area for al fresco dining. Please see the website for more information.
