Candlelight Cottage, nestled in the pretty Derbyshire village of Litton, is a Visit England 5-Star Gold Award rated self-catering holiday home sleeping 4 guests, located within the Peak District National Park. Recently renovated, this gem of a cottage offers a host of contemporary comforts whilst maintaining characterful oak-beamed charm.

The accommodation features a spacious sitting room with wood burning-effect gas stove in the old fireplace, a leather suite, Smart TV and Echo Dot. There is also an equipped kitchen / diner including a Aga stove, dishwasher and washing machine, plus all the pots, pans and crockery needed for cooking. A welcome pack is also provided.

The master bedroom has a Victorian-style double bed, plus there is a twin bedroom and a bathroom with bath and separate shower. The basement has a utility room with a freezer and dryer. The cottage benefits from central heating and Wifi is available. Outside, there is a patio garden with a table and chairs, plus private parking.

The village has a pub, tea room and shop, and there are buses to Bakewell, Castleton and Buxton. Litton is near the heart of the Peaks, just 1 mile east of Tideswell, 5 miles from Bakewell, 8 miles from Buxton and 10 miles from Chatsworth House; in an ideal location for sightseeing, with excellent local walking and cycling routes.
