Seven Acres Park

Seven Acres Park is a Visit England 3-Star rated campsite with a David Bellamy Conservation Award in the Lake District, at Holmrock, midway between Whitehaven and Millom. A Camping and Caravanning Club Friendly site, but open to all, this site is surrounded by scenic parkland and only 3 miles away from the west coast beaches.

There are hardstanding pitches and part grass / part hardstanding pitches suitable for motorhomes and caravans, each with water and electric hook-up; plus a grassed area for tents. Guests can also opt for one of the 2-bedroomed Wexford Lodges or the 3-bedroomed Lakewood Lodges which are also available for holiday hire.

The amenities block has showers and toilets, plus clothes washing, drying and ironing facilities. There is a children’s play area for younger guests. Dogs are allowed and there is a walk around the park, offering views. Hallsenna Moor Nature Reserve is close by and the nearby village of Gosforth has independent shops, a pub and restaurants.
