Low Jock Scar Country Estate offers 4 enchanting self-catering holiday cottages in the beautiful Lake District countryside, a few miles north of the town of Kendal and just off the A6 road. These properties are surrounded by maintained gardens and there are peaceful wooded areas, with Bannisdale Beck passing through the estate. Each cottage is built from traditional Lakeland stone, providing accommodation for couples, families or groups.

Tulip Cottage is on ground floor level, sleeping 2 in a double bedroom. Lily Cottage, also for 2, is split-level, with a double en suite bedroom. Butterfly Cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, including a ground floor en suite room opening to the garden and hot tub. Riverside is the largest cottage, sleeping 8, with a ground floor en suite room opening to the garden and 4 upstairs bedrooms (3 en suite), plus a conservatory and private outside hot tub.

The cottages are well-presented and equipped, featuring a modern kitchen, main bathroom, Smart TV, Wifi, central heating and outside space with a seating area. There is also a secure area for outdoors equipment storage. Cots and high chairs are available for families. Towels and bed linen are provided. There are supermarkets and pubs within about 7 minutes’ drive. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the cottages.
