YHA Windermere

YHA Windermere offers camping, glamping and private rooms in this stunning part of the Lake District, in Troutbeck. Nestled among extensive grounds with woodland, gardens and panoramic views across Lake Windermere, Coniston Fells and Langdale Pikes; this is a perfect place for short breaks and holidays. Dogs are welcome. There is a cycle store and free parking.

Guests can pitch their own tents and wake up to some of the best views in the area; or hire one of the bell tents / tipis sleeping 4 and 5 people each, with solar lighting. There are also the Landpods sleeping 4 with LED lighting, or the vintage silver Airstream camper for 3 with USB chargers, heating, lighting and outdoor firepit. Private rooms are also available in the hostel.

Campers and glampers can use the toilets, showers and self-catering kitchen. There is free Wifi, plus a restaurant and licensed bar on-site serving great food and drink, with dining options available for large groups. The hostel is 2 miles from Windermere, with nearby attractions including Beatrix Potter World, Brockhole Activity Centre, Wray Castle, Lake Cruises and The Jetty Museum.
