The Old Parlour

The Old Parlour is a Visit England 4-Star Gold Award rated beautiful stone-built property with original oak beams and vaulted ceilings, providing a luxurious and contemporary family-friendly holiday home for 10 people, with 2 dogs also welcome. Near Maxworthy, just 8 miles from Launceston, the house is in a central location for accessing the many attractions of Cornwall, only 20 minutes’ drive from the coast.

Found on a working farm, this accommodation includes a large comfortable split-level living area with a fully-equipped kitchen featuring a modern range-style cooker, American fridge freezer, dishwasher and dining table; plus a lounge up the steps featuring a large screen Smart TV, wood burning stove, sofas and armchairs. The games room has another Smart TV, table football, a sofa bed and separate WC.

There are 2 double bedrooms with en suite facilities and doors to the courtyard, another 2 doubles and a family shower room. Wifi and central heating are provided throughout the cottage, and all TVs have Netflix. Outside, there is a 6-person hot tub, dining area, outdoor fridge, BBQ, fire pit, games area with table tennis, climbing frame and a dog bath. Guests will also find ample car parking, with EV charging.
