The Pele Tower – Killington Hall

Killington Hall offers a unique holiday home, The Pele Tower, situated on a beautiful Cumbrian country estate on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, near Kirkby Lonsdale. Stone-built, this beautiful property dates back to the 14th century and retains many original features including characterful stone mullion windows and battlements, whilst providing luxurious Visit England 5-Star rated self-catering facilities.

The Pele Tower sleeps up to 4 adults. Guests will find an open plan living room with a wood burning stove in the inglenook fireplace, comfortable sofas, TV and a well-equipped kitchen including a washer, dryer, dishwasher and dining table. Upstairs, there is a super king bedroom called ‘All Saints’ and a flexible room called ‘Springs Ghyll’ which can either be arranged with a super king or twin beds. Both bedrooms have en suite facilities.

The glass-fronted balcony area overlooks the brook and provides seating. The property is equipped with Smart TVs in both bedrooms and lounge and kitchen, underfloor heating and Wifi. A welcome hamper is also provided for guests’ arrival. There are many superb walks and cycle routes around the local and surrounding area and Killington Reservoir is also nearby for sailing and fishing. The towns of Sedbergh, Kirkby Lonsdale, and Kendal are also well worth a visit.
