Waitby School

Waitby School is a Visit England 5-Star Gold rated holiday cottage which has been sensitively renovated from a Grade II listed 17th century school. Sleeping 7 guests, this accommodation is in a fantastic location, 2 miles outside Kirkby Stephen, in the Eden Valley and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and N Pennines.

The living room was the original schoolroom and features a double height ceiling, l-shaped sofa, TV, surround sound system and the original hearth and fireplace. The kitchen is fully-equipped for self-catering and includes a dishwasher, washer / dryer, dining table and double doors to the garden which has panoramic views of the fells.

The main bedroom is on the ground floor and includes a double bed, en suite bathroom and French doors. There is also an extra WC downstairs. Upstairs, guests will find a second en suite double bedroom and there is a triple room in the converted attic. Outside, the garden is enclosed by a dry stone wall and there is equipment storage.
