Orroland Holiday Cottages are 3 luxurious holiday homes nestled in a remote setting on a private 500-acre estate surrounded by sculptured gardens, woodland and grassy fields. Found along the Solway Firth, about 9 miles from Kirkcudbright, this is a great choice for couples and families, with each lodge within walking distance of the shore.

Each of the cottages offers a unique charm and character and are available for full week holidays and short breaks. Auchengshell accommodates 2 - 8 people in 4 bedrooms, including 3 with en suite facilities. The spacious kitchen and sitting room can seat up to 14 if you want to invite friends and there is also a games room and snug.

Cutlar’s Lodge is set among the trees and meadows providing a home-from-home for 2 - 6 guests; whilst Abbotsway Cottage, for 2 - 5, is in its own remote location at the heart of the estate. Both have 3 bedrooms and allow dogs. Each cottage is fully-equipped, with an open fire or log burner, super-fast Wifi and car parking with EV charging.

These holiday cottages provide a wonderful base from which to get out into the fresh air and explore Dumfries and Galloway, with countless family attractions, play parks, castles and fishing villages. There is easy access to lots of local wildlife, scenery, night-time stargazing and some of the best mountain biking and hill walking in the UK.
