Part of Longview Cottages; Lower Canwood is situated in between Woolhope and Checkley villages, on the edge of the Wye Valley, and also close to the Malvern Hills. This home-from-home is the perfect choice for a holiday, with superb walks straight from the front door and lots of things to see and do in the local area. Hereford is only 15 minutes’ drive away and the accommodation is easily accessible from the M50, which is within 20 minutes.

The property is open plan, thoughtfully-furnished and offers a host of contemporary comforts, including big comfy sofas, a log burner, large TV and modern kitchen / diner. A welcome hamper helps with settling in. The house benefits from a downstairs king size en suite bedroom for those with limited mobility. There are also 4 upstairs bedrooms; 2 of which are super king size / twin with en suite facilities. The other 2 bedrooms offer a king size bed and single bed. These share a bathroom. A pull-out bed is available for an additional guest. A shower chair and toilet seat riser are available, as well as a highchair, cots and stairgate.

Outside, is a new patio area, secure garden with outdoors furniture and parking. The exclusive games room has a pool table, table tennis and toys. Offering excellent privacy, the property has no immediate neighbours. Hot tub hire is available at extra cost and catering can be arranged by local companies. There are numerous footpaths for exploring the surrounding countryside and 2 friendly pubs located within 1.5 miles. The local area offers golf courses, cycling, canoeing, spas and attractions including Haugh Woods butterfly trails and Weston’s Cider Mill in Much Marcle.
