Cambridge House, in the town of Windermere in the Lake District, is in a fantastic location on a residential road, just off the main high street and only steps from Windermere’s fantastic independent shops and eateries. This historic house, built in a Lakeland style, dates from 1873 and was originally designed as a gentleman’s residence. Now part of The INVITED, this guest house is a boutique retreat offering an architect-designed moody, calming atmosphere where rich textures and layered interiors create a sense of stillness and comfort.
