West Cottage

West Cottage is a 4-Star rated self-catering property adjoining a Georgian listed farmhouse in a village location near Carlisle. Resident owners Allison and Colin Stamper are on hand to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Cumwhinton village is within a short walk of the accommodation and has a shop with post office and a pub.

The cottage has a spacious lounge with exposed beams, laminate flooring, 3 piece suite, fireplace with electric fire, TV / DVD player and a stereo system. There is Wifi throughout and books and CDs available. A child fireguard is available on request. There is a fully equipped kitchen and the dining area includes a table and 6 chairs. A high chair is available.

Off the first floor landing is the master bedroom with television. A mezzanine overlooks the staircase and has a double sofa bed. There is also a spacious twin bedded room. A travel cot is available. The large shower room has a WC, basin, shower cubical and heated towel rails.

West Cottage has a patio, garden area and off road parking for up to 4 cars. Well behaved dogs are welcomed at a small surcharge and must not be left unattended.

The cottage provides a perfect base for exploring Carlisle, UNESCO World Heritage Site Hadrians Wall, Lake District National Park, Solway Coast, Eden Valley, Scottish Borders and Gretna Green.
