Southbank House

Southbank House is an elegant Victorian villa located in a quiet conservation area of Hereford, just 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The property is surrounded by mature gardens with plenty of private seating areas for guests to enjoy. Dating back to 1877, Southbank House has retained many of its original Victorian features, including the service bells in the hallway, fireplaces, high ceilings, ornate ceiling roses and coving. There is a large, well-lit private car park in the grounds of the house. Rail and coach links are a short walk from the property.

There are 5 en suite guest bedrooms offering excellent facilities with some giving spectacular views over the cathedral, the city and the Black Mountains beyond. The rooms are furnished with period-style furniture and beds are made up with Egyptian cotton linen. All rooms have Freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and a hospitality tray.

There is free Wifi throughout the property and our guests have use of our elegant drawing room. Prices include a full, locally-sourced, English breakfast. Continental and vegetarian options are also available.
