Welcome to Sharpnage House, a luxury self-catering house in Checkley, Herefordshire, in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This is a 5-Star Gold Award Visit England accredited property, so you are assured of the highest standards. Sharpnage House has been awarded an M1 accreditation so is ideal for older & less agile guests. This family friendly accommodation sleeps up to 10 + 1 people in five bedrooms, there are 4 bedrooms upstairs and these are all super king size, two of which can be converted into twin bedrooms, there are also 5 bathrooms 4 of which are en-suite. One of these is a ground floor bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite wet room (we are rated M1); ideal for those with limited mobility. We can provide a shower chair and a toilet seat riser if needed. Please enquire.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms with super king-size beds and a twin bedroom with zip and link beds, which can be converted in to a super-king size bed if preferred, plus a main bathroom. The living area is open plan with a separate kitchen with Aga cooker and there is a separate snug room. The house offers luxury Hypnos beds and Luxury Egyptian linen and towels, free Wifi and a Sonos Sound System. There is BT TV and also a shared games room, complete with pool table and table tennis table, which is accessed via the beautiful garden which has a private driveway and electric gates. There is a high chair, stair gate and travel cot if needed.

Pets welcome at a small fee (max 3 dogs – security deposit required). We are happy to advise and assist with local activities arrangements wherever possible. We allow a well behaved pet at a small charge, please enquire. Short breaks min2 nights, 3nights start from £1400 (low season). Hot tub hire can be arranged.
