The Woodmans Arms is an award-winning restaurant and pub located in the small town of Whickham, just 5 miles south-west of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. As well as offering a friendly welcome, attentive staff, great food and a well-stocked bar serving handcrafted cocktails and wide range of other drinks, this gastropub now offers a range of beautiful guest bedrooms at ‘The Nest at The Woodmans’, comprising a range of 5 luxury suites with Hypnos beds and a locally-sourced Northumbrian / Continental breakfast included.

Swan is a Superior Suite featuring an in-room bath, walk-in shower and 4-poster bed; Dove is a Super King Luxury; Woodpecker is a Luxury King; Kestrel is a King / Twin and Hummingbird is a Luxury Double. Nestled in our loft space, each has a unique identity, with elegant, award-winning interior design, and can be booked for short stays or as wedding venue accommodation. Guests benefit from Wifi, a Smart TV with Netflix, local produce welcome pack, Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary use of wellies and umbrellas.
