The Bear Hotel is a stylish former 12th century coaching house offering 3-Star accommodation in the historic market town of Cowbridge. With excellent food, and surrounded by the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan, you can expect a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Our rooms are elegantly designed to allow you to feel at home whilst benefiting from our great hospitality. We have single, double, twin and family rooms all with en suite bathrooms, luxury toiletries, Wifi, TV, beverage tray and room service, we also have a bridal suite with 4 poster bed for that extra special stay. We are dog friendly. For people wanting self-catering we have 3 luxury apartments close by.

Visit our Cellars Restaurant for fine dining, or if you want something less formal, then our lounge bar and grill also offer excellent food and drink, or you can sit outside in our courtyard. Popular for walkers and cyclists exploring the magnificent countryside, we can offer special dine and stay packages or bed and breakfast with a bottle of bubbly.
