Lake View Country House

Lake View Country House is a family-owned attractive stone house offering luxurious bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation in a secluded part of Grasmere. Surrounded by the backdrop of the Lake District mountains and fells, we also look out over our extensive grounds. We are dog friendly throughout.

We have 7 bedrooms, all offering high-quality furnishings and private bathrooms. Each has a solid oak bed, Smart TV, hairdryer, Wifi and a beverage tray. A delicious breakfast is served in our light and airy breakfast room where you can choose a variety of options from our menu including a Full Cumbrian breakfast with ingredients from local producers and our own home made granola. We can cater for special diets.

Lake View has 2 luxury studio apartments with spacious living area featuring king-sized bed, comfortable sofas and kitchenette. You can explore our grounds with games area and barbeque. We have private access to Grasmere Lake for fishing and there is a gastro pub down the road for fabulous meals and in-house brewery.
