Torrisdale Castle Estate

Torrsidale Castle Estate, on the east coast of Kintyre, overlooking the Isle of Arran, offers a range of excellent self-catering accommodation. The Castle was built in 1815 and its extensive grounds are home to abundant wildlife, woodland and nature trails, making it perfect for a peaceful Scottish retreat.

Our large 3-bedroomed apartment The Servants’ Quarters is located on the ground floor of the castle. The property has sea views and includes its own riverside hot tub and sauna. We also have Garden Cottage, South Lodge and The Arch Cottage; all sleeping 2 guests. All properties are well equipped and include tea, coffee and milk so you can enjoy a hot drink upon arrival. Towels can be hired. Our accommodation is dog friendly.

Guests at Torrsidale get the chance to plant a tree on the estate as a reminder of their time here, and you will find woodland and coastal walks as well as a private beach. We are situated on the Kintyre Way. Kintyre Gin is made at Beinn an Tuirc Distillery on the estate. We offer tours which includes a G & T in the tasting room afterwards. We look forward to seeing you!
