Campbeltown Bunkhouse

Campbeltown Bunkhouse is a former schoolhouse which has been extensively refurbished to provide affordable hostel accommodation in this historic town on the Mull of Kintyre. A haven for cyclists and hikers travelling The Kintyre Way, we provide bunks in 2 dormitories.

As well as comfortable beds and hot showers, we have a fully-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area. We can also provide secure indoor storage for your bicycle or other equipment. Convenient for the ferry terminal, buses and airport, we are also within walking distance of the many restaurants cafes and pubs in the town. Campbeltown has many historic buildings, 3 whisky distilleries and a host of attractions for any visitor, including fishing water sports and sailing. Clearly visible from Campbeltown and well worth a visit is Davaar Island, which can only be accessed at low tide via a mile-long causeway.
