Elterwater Park

Elterwater Park, once a 17th century traditional working farm, is now a family-run guest house near Skelwith Bridge in the southern Lake District. Owners Lesley and Neil are extremely helpful, friendly and attentive, offering complimentary cake and coffee on arrival, to a friendly farewell when you leave. Elterwater Park has been awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence due to their ongoing superb guest reviews.

There are Standard House Rooms all on the first floor and Premier Barn Rooms which are in the converted barn, a few yards from the house, where all have ground floor access. Guest rooms have en suite facilities, digital satellite TV, coffee and tea making facilities and a hairdryer. Dogs are welcome in designated rooms for no extra charge.

See the chickens in the yard and enjoy their eggs at breakfast time. Step from the front door onto the Cumbria Way and walk to Colwith Force, Tarn Hows, Elterwater Lake or Langdale valley or other surrounding fells. Ambleside, Coniston and Hawkshead are within easy reach and this is simply perfect walking and cycling country. Lesley and Neil offer a transport service to and from Elterwater Park.
