The Hawthorns

The Hawthorns is located close to the village of Bassenthwaite, approximately 4.5 miles from Keswick in The Lake District. Providing self-catering accommodation for 2 guests, this cottage is on a single level. Nestled on the lowest slopes of the Skiddaw mountain range, it has magnificent vistas from almost every window and doorway! Bassenthwaite is an ideal location from which to explore all of the Lake District and Cumbria. There are some excellent walks and cycleways straight from the door.

The light and airy lounge has amazing views across Bassenthwaite Lake to the fells. The kitchen is fully-equipped and there is a small dining room and gorgeous sun lounge. The bedroom can be configured as a king-sized or twin room with views overlooking the tiered rear garden. There is also a fully fitted shower room. Outside, there is private parking and a pretty garden and orchard.
