Carden Historic Cottages would like to present their family-owned holiday cottage offering luxurious self-catering accommodation in the Eskdale Valley. Church House is a beautifully restored Lakeland Farmhouse within stunning gardens, where you can enjoy original beamed ceilings, slate floors and stone walls, with lots of contemporary comforts. It has a Visit England 5-Star Gold rating.
Decorated to a beautiful standard, the downstairs benefits from underfloor heating from a ground source heat pump. There is a sitting room with La-Z-Boy armchairs and TV; fully equipped kitchen, sun room with dining table and sofa, plus a drying and utility room. Up the original oak staircase to the first floor, there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with cast iron bath.
The property has a beautiful garden, secure bicycle storage, off road parking and an old Bothy which can provide additional sleeping for 2 guests. With so many walks and cycleways on the doorstep, we are a popular destination for walking and cycling enthusiasts. Dogs are also welcome by arrangement.
