Heckbarley is a fabulous holiday cottage offering self-catering accommodation for up to 11 guests in the picturesque village of Ennerdale Bridge. It is located close to Ennerdale Lake in the beautiful setting of of the Lake District National Park, it is a great place in which to explore the fells and lakes. Perfect for family or group holidays.

Furnished to a high standard, there is a light and airy lounge with wood burning stove, and separate dining room, Sky TV and fast broadband. We have an enclosed garden close to a field. Our large conservatory offers a comfortable place to relax. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, as well as 4 bedrooms one en-suite and a family bathroom. Outside, there is parking for two vehicles on the drive with additional parking in the village 20 metres away.

50 metres from the local pub The Shepherds Arms Hotel. Ennerdale and the adjacent valleys are great places to walk on the fells or just relax by the lakes. Ennerdale Water is only 1 mile away and is perfect for fishing. We are on the Coast to Coast walk which was devised by Wainwright. We are also within 2 miles of the Coast to Coast Cycle Routes. Also horse riding is available nearby.
