Avalon Guest House in Newquay is an attractive Edwardian-era property situated in a quiet, residential part of this popular North Cornwall town, close to both Tolcarne and Great Western beaches. The famous Fistral surfing beach and the picturesque harbour are also only just minutes away. Offering home-from-home accommodation and facilities, friendly owners Helen and Paul provide a warm welcome and excellent hospitality.

All 6 guest bedrooms are individually-named; Launcelot is a spacious double / twin/ triple, Galahad is a luxury double with a private balcony, Perceval, Bedevere & Tristan are all doubles with en-suite and Gawain is a family room with a double and 2 single beds and it's own private bathroom. All have digital TV, fridge, hot drinks-making facilities and a hairdryer. Ironing facilities are also available. A continental breakfast buffet provides a superb start to the day!

Our guest house welcomes families, small groups, couples, single or business travellers and surfing guests, including for the yearly Boardmaster’s Festival in August. Free private car parking is available and Avalon is just 300 metres from the railway station and also convenient for local bus services. The town centre is about half a mile away. Newquay Airport is 6 miles away and a taxi can be organised if needed.

Aside from the amazing beaches and spectacular coastal scenery, there are an abundance of attractions, such as Dairyland Farm Park, Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium, The Japanese Gardens, Pirate’s Quest and more. The shops range from independent specialist to national chain stores, with plenty of surfing paraphernalia on offer. The town is also well-known for its vibrant nightlife. We have allocated private parking for each room.
