The Cove

The Cove is a family-run bed and breakfast in the attractive coastal village of Pentewan, 3 miles from St Austell. The house dates back to the 1600s as a fishermans cottage and was rebuilt in the 1800s. Owners Gill and Alison have been accommodating guests here since 1986, so you can expect a very warm welcome and a home baked scone on your arrival!

Our rooms are either decorated in a Georgian style if you are in the newer part of the house, or have the quirky uneven ceilings and walls in the older part of the house. All are comfortably furnished with en suite facilities, TV, Wifi, hairdryer and central heating. We have double, twin and family rooms available and guests are welcome to enjoy the lounge with log burner and comfy sofas.

We will provide a hearty breakfast for you in the morning where you can choose from a healthy continental style breakfast or a cooked breakfast, all using fine local ingredients. We also have a cafe and we are within walking distance to the beach, coastal path and sailing centre.
