The George Inn

The George Inn is a warm and welcoming family-run village inn offering cosy guest rooms in the picturesque village of Tideswell, 6 miles east of Buxton within the Derbyshire Dales. The Peak District National Park also surrounds the village. Run by Allen and Wendy, expect first-class hospitality throughout your stay.

All our rooms are decorated in contemporary colours and each has en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, free Wifi, TV, DVD, hairdryer and a refreshment tray for making hot drinks. We have double, twin and triple rooms, each including a delicious full English or vegetarian breakfast in the morning.

The Inn serves great-tasting traditional pub food throughout the day and the bar offers a wide range of beverages including real ales and fine wines, which you can enjoy in our cosy lounge or outside in our seating area. We have on site car parking and can cater for weddings, special occasions or business meetings.
