Monks Retreat Holiday Cottages offer a stunning location surrounded by panoramic countryside views. Located in Millers Dale in the Peaks, on the site of a former monastery, our cottages have been carefully restored to offer 3 superb self-catering holiday homes.

Monks Memories is a ground floor cottage for 2, Friars Folly sleeps 4 and Abbots Abode sleeps 6 guests. All have their original beamed ceilings and stone walls, with modern facilities including free Wifi, well-equipped kitchens, central heating and private gardens. There is a shared laundry room and we can provide cots or highchairs if needed.

The scenery in this part of the Wye Valley is magnificent, with the impressive Ravenstor Cliff only a short distance away on the route to Litton Mill. We are surrounded by walks and trails of varying difficulties with the traffic-free Monsal Trail a local favourite. There is a riverside pub a short walk away which provides meals.
