Pillarbox Cottage

Owners Sarah and Carl would like to welcome you to Pillarbox Cottage, a self-catering holiday home in the scenic town of Matlock. This Grade 2 listed building, that was once a former barn, has been lovingly converted into a cosy cottage with beautiful beamed ceilings and stone walls. A romantic cottage for 2 guests, close to the Peak District National Park, it has superb views across to Riber Castle.

The sitting room is a cosy place to relax with sofas, TV, DVD player, blu ray player and a selection of books and games and a spiral staircase leading to the double bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen has been well-equipped for a holiday stay and there is a dining area. The cottage has off road car parking and is only a 20-minute walk from the railway station.

Pillarbox Cottage is a short stroll from the town centre with its traditional shops, friendly inns, tea rooms and restaurants. Matlock Bath, Chatsworth House, Carsington Water, Alton Towers and the Peak Village Outlet Shopping Centre are a short drive away.
