Tinsmith’s Cottage is a beautifully presented 18th century cottage offering stunning views over the Derwent Valley in the village of Cromford. Dating back to 1765 as a former lead miner’s cottage, today you can enjoy its home-from-home charm and comforts. Owners Ian and Lesley will ensure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

The lounge has leather sofas, a TV, DVD player and free Wifi. The dining room is set out for 6 and there is a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. The cottage has a double bedroom and a family-sized room with a double and 2 single beds. Outside, there is a courtyard with views of Cromford Sough which is affectionately called the ‘Bear Pit’. Pets are welcome at the property by arrangement.

There is a children’s park, local shops, pubs and restaurants in the village, with the mill offering a Visitor Centre and tours. Tinsmith’s Cottage is on the fringes of the Peak District National Park which is popular for walking, cycling, climbing and many other outdoors activities.
