Rock Cottage

Rock Cottage is a beautiful 16th century cottage nestled in an acre of private grounds along the banks of Mawgan Creek. The village of Mawgan is 10-minutes’ walk away and has a friendly inn serving food, general stores and a 12th century church. The cottage provides a perfect base to explore The Lizard Heritage Coast and the many attractions of south-west Cornwall.

The cottage has a cosy lounge with inglenook fireplace housing an electric-effect wood burner. There is also a 3-piece suite, TV, DVD player and dining table. The newly-fitted kitchen features a dishwasher and washer dryer. The garden room has ‘zip link’ beds that can be arranged as a king-sized room or twin room. Upstairs, there is a triple aspect master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a children’s bedroom with twin beds.

Outside, you can sit in the garden and watch the diverse wildlife or go walking in the adjacent woodland or along the creek. There is a small jetty where we keep a dingy moored for guests to use. Helston is just over 5 miles away and has a host of shops, amenities and attractions.
