Stockghyll Cottage

Stockghyll Cottage Bed and Breakfast is situated in the lakeside village of Bowness-on-Windermere. This charming Lakeland stone cottage has scenic views and is set within an area of woodland, less than half-a-mile from the centre of Bowness. With a 4-Star Visit England rating, owners Heather and Adrian offer warm and welcoming hospitality.

There are 3 guest rooms, 2 of which have lake views. The other bedroom looks across to the waterfall. All have en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, a television, hairdryer and beverage tray. You can enjoy a freshly cooked Cumberland breakfast in the morning with plenty of our home-made marmalade for your toast!

There is secure storage for bicycles and equipment and plenty of private car parking. Our water meadow has direct access to the beach and you can even launch your own canoe or kayak from here. There are plenty of boat trips, water activities and fishing available on the lake and the area is famous for its fellwalking opportunities.
